As a professional geriatric care manager, Teresa has spent more than 20 years assisting older adults and their family caregivers in navigating the challenges of aging.  Teresa is knowledgeable in all aspects of aging – medical, psychological, legal, financial, behavioral, etc.  Through Caregiver Coaching, Teresa works with older adults and their families/care partners to develop short and longer-term care plans focusing on independence, dignity, and maintaining positive family relationships. Family sessions are encouraged.

As a dementia expert, Teresa supplies education and training on neurodegenerative conditions, communication techniques, and caregiver coping strategies.

As a mental health therapist, Teresa believes that all have the potential to heal, to grow, and to thrive through supportive relationships and skill acquisition.

Teresa grew up as the second of ten children in Pittsburgh, Pa.  She identifies most strongly with her Italian heritage and loves family, friends, cooking, and entertaining in addition to art, interior design, fundraising, and travel.  She devotes time to community service and social justice causes.
