Jessica has delivered individual and group counseling for a range of presenting concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, psychosis, interpersonal issues, and career concerns. Additionally, she is trained in delivering cognitive and personality assessment. Her research focus is on Latino adolescents who use substances.

Philosophical Orientation: 

Jessica strives to understand how her clients have been shaped by their social context, focusing on attitudes gained and meaning attributed to experiences from childhood and beyond. She collaborates with her clients to create goals and guide them towards adopting a self-image that better serves them in reaching their potential. Jessica has been trained to use multiple therapeutic methods.


Jessica grew up in Wisconsin and recently moved to Utah to complete her Counseling Psychology Ph.D. at the University of Utah. As a break from her work, Jessica enjoys trying new restaurants, shopping, journaling, and watching comedy shows.
