Get to Know Setta:

I grew up in Colorado and California, but moved to Utah in 2024 and fell in love with the beautiful mountains, lakes, and rivers. When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely not be able to find me as I’ll be lost somewhere in a forest or national park with no service. I am an avid reader and writer, and lover of all things vintage, so if weather does not allow an outside adventure, you’ll find me in a bookstore or vintage/antique shop with a cup of coffee with a record playing in the background. I am a mother of two sons and three cats, and also have an overwhelming love of sunflowers and highland cows.

I have worked in a multitude of settings as a therapist/social worker since 2017, including inpatient residential drug and alcohol treatment, intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment, intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment, medical social work, and outpatient mental health therapy.

I took a break from therapy from 2020-2023 and focused on non-clinical certifications, including becoming a Registered 200HR Yoga Teacher, Birth + Postpartum Doula, Level II Reiki Practitioner, and working on my PhD in Integral and Transpersonal Psychology. After returning to clinical therapy in 2024, I became Master Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and as of July 2025 am currently one of their trainers.

I consider the art of therapy to be one of sacred space holding and compassionate guidance, and integrate my somatic and energetic specialties with the more scientific approach of polyvagal theory and nervous system regulation. My belief is that this foundation provides the possibility for any willing participant actively working on their own healing to achieve psychological safety and establish healthy boundaries to maintain emotional regulation even in the most trying circumstances.
