James has spent much of his life in Utah, and has also lived in China, Ukraine, and Nevada. He enjoys drawing, making music, connecting with friends, and having long conversations in cozy cafes.
Philosophical Orientation:
James takes a person-centered approach to therapy, trusting that meaningful change primarily emerges through an open, collaborative, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. He also integrates interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Affect Phobia Therapy, Existential Psychotherapy, and Jungian Analysis.
